Medicine beyond
the model.

Most complex cases have never been read as one story. Not because nobody tried, but because the model looks at one system at a time, and by year six there are five of them.

Why you're here

You did everything right.

The clean diet. The supplement stack that costs more than groceries. Every panel your doctor would order and a few you ordered yourself.

You feel off. Your labs look normal. Both of those are true at once.

Most of what you've been doing is what I call superficial green allopathic medicine — swapping the pharmacy for the health food store and keeping the same logic. A pill for this, a powder for that. Same model, better packaging. It has a ceiling, and you've found it.

You're not broken. You're burdened.

Real medicine starts underneath all of that. It starts at the terrain — the internal environment your cells are living in, the ground everything grows from.

Six questions. Then a real read on your case.

Not a screening form. Nobody gets turned away and nothing gets sold to you at the end. You tell me where it's hitting hardest and how long it's been going, and I'll tell you how I'd actually look at it.

Takes about two minutes.

How I work

Remove the obstacles to cure.

That's the philosophy, and it isn't mine — it's the therapeutic order, the framework that has guided naturopathic medicine since long before I got here. Take the burden off first. Give the system what it needs. Only then reach for anything stronger.

It sounds simple. Almost nobody does it in order, which is why so many protocols fail on people who followed them perfectly.

These are the tools I use once we know what we're dealing with:

Terrain and cellular healing

Drainage, lymphatic flow, mineral status, hydration, toxic load. Cleanse before you nourish — you can't absorb into a system that isn't clearing. I also put a drop of living blood under the microscope here in the office, which changes the conversation immediately for most people.

Homeopathy

Two hundred years of clinical practice without a known mechanism, and it keeps not dying. It works beyond chemistry, at the level of the vital force. I can't hand you a mechanism. I can hand you the cases.

Heart coherence

The heart sends more signal to the brain than the brain sends back, and that signal decides whether your physiology runs repair or stays braced in defense. HRV, the 0.1Hz resonant frequency, HeartMath. Measurable, and trainable — which is the part most people have never been told.

Mind and spirit

Meditation as medicine. Removing the trauma layers the body is still holding. This is where I go deepest and where most medicine refuses to follow. I don't apologize for it. It's the part that works.

The clinic

Red Rock Naturopathic.

I'm the Medical Director of a licensed naturopathic clinic and apothecary in West Sedona. My wife, Dr. Jennifer Tice, ND, practices alongside me — naturopathic pediatrics, pregnancy care, and holistic family medicine.

In person here in Sedona, or by telemedicine. There's a real office at a real address with a dispensary in it, and we've been doing this in this town for years.

Dr. Adam Tice, ND

My undergraduate training was in molecular biology and biochemistry. I loved it and I still do. Going that deep into the science is exactly what made me feel its limits — the body works with a precision that chemistry alone doesn't account for. Something intelligent is organizing it.

The body isn't a machine to be fixed. It's an intelligence to be restored.

Homeopathy made sense to me from the first day of clinical training, because biochemistry had already shown me the edge of what chemistry can explain. Homeopathy is what's on the other side of that line.

I treat the people the model gave up on. Labs are normal, still not right, tried everything. Naturopathic physician, father, Medical Director of Red Rock Naturopathic in West Sedona.

The heart sends more signal to the brain than the brain sends back, and that signal decides whether your body runs repair or stays braced in defense. This is the shortest version of how to shift it — seven minutes, no equipment.

It's the first thing I teach almost every patient.

The Minimum Dose

This isn't a wellness blog. It's where I think out loud about homeopathy, the new paradigm of medicine, consciousness and healthspan — and what the clinic has actually taught me about why people don't get better, and what happens when they do.

Remedies. Real cases. What it looks like when something stuck finally moves.
